January 12, 2011

The rivalry is ON like Donkey Kong. Please note how EH uses excellent box-out technique in suggesting that KiKi find something else to do. She had apparently gotten too close to his book (a page of which she ripped apart after dinner when no one was looking). Watch as he backs into her so that in case she falls & cries, he can throw his hands up in the air. That is Classic Big Brother Technique. He's a craftsman just like his old man.

Emily had her friend Katie come over with her son, Hampton, who's 4. We really like when Hampton comes over as mentioned in a previous entry because he shares his trains and can zip up his own jacket. Needless to say after EH noticed all of the praise that Hampton got, he found something immediately to zip.

Also, KiKi fell on her face.

But she's ok - and Emily's concerned friend has already brought a baby gate. The next time something happens, I'll assume a call's being put in to Child Services.

In Potting Training News, EH said today that his "tee-tee was asleep," so now we remind him that when his tee-tee is awake, he needs to sit on his potty. Not sure if this will get us anywhere, but we're willing to try anything - M&M's and race cars have already been offered as a bribe. Pop is in town this weekend, and so I'm planning on extensive time in big boy underwear.

Cheers from Homewood,

The Balls
