May 25, 2011 - Part 2

Well, as promised, but not completed in a timely manner, here are some pictures of "EH's Farm." Grandaddy and EH (and Big Edmund) planted a "farm" in the backyard and it has been growing like crazy. We've finally gotten stakes and have that at the top of our list for Memorial Day!

Here is EH working hard with "The Zhi" in the yard. Every since "the farm" - he's been very into yard work! They actually made a tree out of the Japanese Maple that looked more like Snufalupagus. Thank goodness!

Here is a tomato plant! My goal - homemade spaghetti sauce by the end of the summer! We'll see.

Tomatoes and peppers. They are working "reay hard" on the weeds - but they keep coming back!

Here are the squash plants. Let's just say - we could probably open our own booth at the Farmer's Market. I mean, there are at least 14-15 each growing on these plants!

Closer view. We've already contracted with the Crago family to assist in harvesting the squash during our absence in the near future!

Here's Zhi with Edmund taking a much needed break for a quick photo. They both look like they are ready for the bath.

This is just cute. Had to post.

Here she is with her favorite walker (of course, it was EH's and anything EH didn't love - she does! It's great!) She obviously hit a bit of a wall and had to stop.

Here is EH - dapper as ever - in his birthday seersucker blazer. He put this coat on at about 8:15 AM and didn't take it off until around 11:30 AM when we got home. Boy loves his jackets...and all the compliments.

That wraps it up!

Cheers from Homewood,

Emily
