Okay - let's be honest - we know all you really care about is seeing pictures, so to catch you up on the last week, I've added some photos - and I'll throw in a caption or two so you know what's going on in them! They are in no particular order because I'm pretty slow at downloading and don't feel like moving them around. We are gearing up for our first round of visitors this weekend and we are SO excited! EH and I will be "reay beezy" getting ready! Here's EH on his new balance bike! They are the "new thing" because they teach toddlers how to balance before adding pedals and brakes. We found it at Homewood Cycle and think once he gets the hang of it - he'll love it! For now - he said, "Dad, we need to get in the grass because of the cars. And, let's go find some bugs." We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary with a trip to the outlet mall (I know, that's a little "red") and then a swanky dinner (which was definitely not "red") at Botegga's. It was definitely what everyone said it was and we had a wonderful dining experience! Here's a shot of Kiki at the zoo. I believe she is starting to cut 4 teeth - so she's extra fussy...well, not in this picture - but in general. And, her new thing...she will not crawl. She insists that someone hold her hands and help her walk around. Sounds really cute until you are the one who has to lean over and help her walk. Where are those "walking wings" when we need them! Hopefully we'll have video of her walking soon!
EH and Keeks think hiding and popping out like a Jack in the Box is hysterical. They were both in the hamper for this shot...apparently studying how the Velcro is sewn in!

Oh yes - and Kiki's other favorite thing to do these days - climb in and out of her pink chair! Pop - we are so glad you got this for her! She likes to climb in her chair to have her socks and shoes put on in the mornings. She also loves to go from chair to chair - so it's a good thing we have more than one, Pop!

And - here they are on Sunday in their Sunday clothes. We squeezed Edmund into his last Jon Jon so he could "wear his knees" and plan on sticking with his button down shirts from now on. We're not sure who the baby is in this picture...

Today was EH's 3-year-old appointment. It was quick. He did a great job answering the questions. He failed miserably at "tt-ing in the cup" - but we did not get the study guide and were unaware of this test. He did not flinch when he had his finger pricked and actually thought the blood was pretty cool. However, he did not care for his immunization and asked the nurse to pomptly leave when she was finished. "No thank you - you may go. Where's my sucker?" He is 36.5" tall and weighs 33 pounds which puts him in the 60th and 25th percentiles, respectively. She said he looked great! Miss Kiki (as EH calls her) kept Baby Caty (as her kids call her) which made for a much more focused doctor's appointment.

I'm still trying to put together 12 months of pictures of EH to celebrate his 3rd year of life - but seeing as he was pretty anti-camera during these last 12 months - it's been a little tricky. Stay tuned!

Have a great Wednesday,

The Balls
